Spencer McGuire is a 5th year Journalism and Cognitive Science double major at UGA. With an entire major in artificial intelligence, big surprise that he’s a big fan of sci-fi movies, with no end of thoughts on the likes of Arrival, Interstellar, and Blade Runner (original and sequel). When working at his summer camp job, his “camp name” was Chappie, based on that one movie that probably five people saw and was criminally underappreciated.

Tessa Green is a 4th year Journalism major at UGA also completing a certificate in New Media. When she’s not rewatching her two favorite movies (Clueless and Love Actually) she’s checking out any new Netflix originals, the latest Marvel movie or any upcoming horror flicks.

Paige Inglee is a 4th year Journalism major with a minor in Women’s Studies. She’s a sucker for a good musical or romantic comedy, specifically Moulin Rouge or About Time. Going to the movies has always been something her family enjoys doing together, whether it’s going to see the new Star Wars movie or remake of a Disney classic.

Erin Bendig is a fourth-year student at UGA studying Journalism, Art History and New Media. While her favorite films include No Country for Old Men, Spirited Away and Phantom Thread, early 2000s teen flicks hold a special place in her heart. As far as actors go, she loves Joaquin Phoenix and Amy Adams and totally wants to be best friends with Steve Buscemi.

J.Thomas Perdue is a fourth-year journalism student with a history minor at UGA. His favorite film is the Cohen Brothers’ O Brother Where Art Thou? He enjoys the works of Stanley Kubrick (Dr. Strangelove, Full Metal Jacket), Quentin Tarantino (Kill Bill, Inglorious Bastards), and the aforementioned Cohens (The Big Lebowski, No Country for Old Men).

Jenny Vo is a fourth-year Journalism major with a Vietnamese minor. She loves watching superhero, action and thriller/horror movies. This is all probably due to the fact that she’s an adrenaline junkie and loves anything that will get her heart rate going. Her favorite movies include “King Arthur: Legend of the Sword,” “The Dark Night,” “The Greatest Showman” and pretty much any Marvel movie. There really aren’t many films that she would not give a chance to, that is unless it is another ridiculous Adam Sandler movie. She is definitely not going to watch another one of those.
